Komen for the Cure is so fortunate to have your support in the fight against breast cancer. We recognize that you might have questions as you begin to shop or browse Promise Shop, and so we have provided a Frequently Asked Questions section.

If you can not find an answer to your question in our Frequently Asked Questions, or you are having a problem using Promise Shop, please call our customer service team at 1-877 GO KOMEN (1-877-465-6636) during normal business hours, Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, CST. Preparing to Place an Order
  • Phone, Mail and Fax Orders

      If you prefer not to order online, please call our customer service team at 1-877 GO KOMEN (1-877-465-6636) during normal business hours, Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, CST. If all telephone lines are busy, your call will be placed on hold and answered by the first available representative.

  • Package Size (primarily Educational Materials)

    Package size for educational materials has been determined by analyzing the historical order patterns and the uses of the product.

  • We are only able to sell educational materials in the package size specified for the particular item. For example, one package of 806-301-GA (Breast Self-Exam cards) is equal to 250 BSE cards. Please remember to always order by the number of packages that you want. Unfortunately, quantities less than a package size cannot be processed. Purchasing items in the specified package quantities enables us to be more efficient; therefore, allowing more funds to be used to fulfill our promise to end breast cancer.

  • Shipping and Handling Options and Rate Schedule (United States Only)

    There are three shipping and handling options available:

    1. Ground
      This is our standard method of shipping and handling. Delivery is expected in 7 to 10 business days (excluding holidays).
    2. Next Day (expedited shipping and handling)
    3. 2nd Day (expedited shipping and handling)

    Please note that Next Day and 2nd Day are based on business days; therefore, weekend delivery and holidays are not included.

    Expedited Shipping and Handling
    Overnight Add $25 to shipping cost

  • Order Cut-off Times and Expected Shipping Day
    All orders will be shipped within 48 hours, excluding weekends and holidays.

    Expedited Orders: If you have selected either the Next Day or 2nd Day option, orders MUST be received by 1:59 pm, CST to ship on that business day. After 1:59 pm, CST expedited orders will ship on the next business day.

  • International Orders
    All orders must be paid for in U.S. funds. If an order is to be shipped outside the U.S. it must be prepaid and approved prior to shipping. Orders will be shipped International Priority unless otherwise requested by calling our customer service team at 972-701-2025 during normal business hours, Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, CST or you can email your request using Contact Us. Shipping charges will be applied at the time of shipment.

    Komen’s Promise Shop accepts the following credit cards:
    - American Express
    - Discover
    - Mastercard
    - Visa
    (Komen Affiliates and Grantees can ONLY be invoiced if they call 1-877 GO KOMEN (1-877-465-6636) to place an order.)

  • Credit Card Orders
    Credit card orders are subject to verification and acceptance before shipping. We are not responsible for typographical errors. If your credit card does not process, we will cancel your order; you will be notified via email or U.S. mail and will need to place a new order.

  • Product Availability
    Sometimes a product is not available at the time of ordering due to the overwhelming success of a new item or a manufacturing delay. When possible, we will always try to let you know when the product will become available to ship. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

  • Security and Privacy
    All credit card transactions conducted on the Komen's Web site employ SSL secure encryption to protect your credit card information. This method is industry-standard security protocol for protecting data transmissions. Additionally, Komen utilizes digital certificates issued by VeriSign, an established signer of digital certificates.

  • Why Your Email Address is Needed
    We ask our customers to provide an email address so that we can send an email confirmation at the time an order is placed. The confirmation will include the order number if you should need it in the future.

  • Sales Tax
    Each of the 50 United States and Puerto Rico has established state tax regulations. Taxes are charged according to the shipping address of your order.

  • Tax-Exempt Organizations
    Komen must obtain a valid tax exemption certificate for any sale that is made to an organization that claims a sales/use tax exemption. Please fax your valid tax exemption certificate to 1.877.581.7037 or you can mail it to Susan G. Komen for the Cure, Attention: Merchandise, 5005 LBJ Freeway, Suite 250, Dallas, TX 75244 prior to ordering. Sales tax will be charged as applicable if we have not received a valid tax-exemption certificate prior to ordering. If you do not submit the form before placing your order, Komen for the Cure will not be able to refund the tax amount--you need to contact your local or federal tax office to receive the refund. Your order can then be placed by calling Customer Service at 1-877-GO-KOMEN (tax exempt orders cannot be placed directly on-line)

  • Price Quote Needed
    If your organization needs a purchase order prior to payment of an order, please call our customer service team at 1-877 GO KOMEN (1-877-465-6636) during normal business hours, Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, CST. We will be happy to forward you a quote listing the requested items and total charges. The order will not be processed until payment is received.

  • Problems Placing your Order
    If you have any problems with placing your order online or with the Promise Shop section in general, please call 1-877 GO KOMEN (1-877-465-6636) during our normal business hours, Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, CST. After You've Placed An Order
  • Expected Delivery Dates

    Unless you selected an expedited shipping and handling method, orders are shipped via small package ground transportation and should be delivered within 7 to 10 business days after order placement.

  • Tracking an Order
    Track your order by clicking on Check Order Status in the lower left hand corner in Promise Shop. Once you are signed-in, your order history will appear. Click on the Details button for the order you would like to track. The tracking information will be listed next to each item. Click on the tracking number to see the status of your order.

  • Item Missing/Wrong Item Shipped
    Please check the packing slip that was included with your shipment to determine if your order was shipped correctly. Please call the customer service team at 1-877 GO KOMEN (1-877-465-6636) within 5 days during our normal business hours, Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, CST and let us know about the missing or wrong item. We will ship the missing or correct item immediately to you.

  • Our Satisfaction Guarantee
    If for any reason one of your selections does not meet your expectations or is damaged, please call our customer service team at 1-877 GO KOMEN (1-877-465-6636) within 30 days during our normal business hours, Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, CST. We will gladly replace or refund the selection. All returns must be authorized by customer service and can take up to four weeks to receive. Customers are responsible for the return shipping unless the item is damaged or was shipped incorrectly. (Does not apply to Komen Affiliates or Grantees.)

  • Purchase Proceeds
    Fifty to 80 percent of the purchase price of all items sold will support our promise to save lives and end breast cancer forever. Your purchase is helping millions of women you’ve never met.

  • Product Catalog
    Komen does not print a product catalog in order to keep our administrative costs at a minimum. All items are found online in Promise Shop and new items are posted immediately to the Web site. If you need a copy of Komen's available items, please email us by using the Contact Us button at the top of the page.

  • New Product Idea
    Komen is always looking for new products. Please click here for information and to submit your product. A confirming email will be sent when your information is received.
